Bees produce a natural waxy substance called beeswax, which they then use to build their honeycombs, and I harvest beeswax while I collect my raw honey. I pull the beehive frames that are full of honey and capped with beeswax and scratch off the wax that is covering the honeycomb. These capping’s are then cleaned, filtered, and used to make our beneficial beeswax candles.
Beneficial, says I? And dear reader, let me list the reasons:
1: Truly natural, beeswax doesn’t contain carcinogenic ingredients. This is a renewable resource that requires no chemical processing. That means they are biodegradable & compostable and won’t end up in a land fill somewhere.
2: A natural air purifier; beeswax candles produce negative ions which attracts the positive charge of airborne pollutants, pollen, dust and dirt.
3: There are no animal byproducts (like stearic acid in paraffin candles). Beeswax candles naturally burn at a slower rate and creates a light spectrum that matches our sun!
4: Natural patina, a soft white bloom, forms on real beeswax candles over time & with exposure to colder air. This beautiful bloom is a testament to the authenticity of real beeswax.
5: They smell amazing without any additional fragrances!
Remember: NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED.
